Skin During Pregnancy
Pregnancy is a beautiful time in a woman's life, marked by unique experiences and profound changes. By around the 40th week of pregnancy, the female body reaches its peak performance. During pregnancy, hormonal, vascular, metabolic, and immunological changes can significantly impact the appearance of the skin.

One of the most noticeable changes is the increased release of estrogen and other hormones, which leads to enhanced blood flow to the skin and mucous membranes. This increase in circulation often contributes to the radiant complexion and natural "glow" that is commonly associated with pregnancy.

However, hormonal fluctuations can also cause skin issues. The increase in estrogen can stimulate sweat gland activity, leading to increased perspiration and possibly feelings of heat, especially in warmer climates or during physical activity. Additionally, the rise in melanocyte-stimulating hormone (MSH) can trigger hyperpigmentation, known as chloasma, which causes dark spots on the face, particularly in sun-exposed areas. Chloasma is often more pronounced in the last trimester.
Hormonal changes can also affect skin oiliness and the development of acne. Some women may experience dry, itchy skin due to reduced oil production, while others may notice increased oiliness, leading to pregnancy acne. These changes are driven by hormonal fluctuations that influence sebum production, making the skin more prone to clogged pores and breakouts.

Overall, the skin changes during pregnancy are a natural part of the body's adjustment to support the growing fetus. While some changes may be more noticeable or bothersome than others, it's important for expectant mothers to prioritize skincare routines that address their individual needs. This focus on self-care promotes comfort, confidence, and overall well-being during this beautiful time.

Application
Cleansing Oil - It is important to shake the oil well before use to thoroughly mix the two phases! Dispense three pumps into wet hands, massage the oil into dry skin, and rinse thoroughly with water.

Rosa Damascena Hydrolat - Spray the rose hydrosol generously onto the skin after cleansing. Use it several times a day as needed. The rose hydrosol spray also serves as a wonderful refreshment on hot summer days.

Hyaluron Barrier Serum - Shake the serum thoroughly. Dispense three drops into your hands and gently apply it to the skin sprayed with hydrosol. Use the serum both morning and evening for optimal results.

24h Face Oil - After cleansing, mist your face with rose hydrosol. Apply 3 drops of serum, followed by 3 drops of 24h Face Oil.
